ACOUSTIC VALUES
Enviroclad supplies coolroom panels to Griffith and the wider Riverina, one of Australia’s most productive agricultural regions, responsible for some of the country’s highest volumes of wine, citrus, rice, poultry, and stone fruit.
From the vineyards along Banna Avenue and the irrigation channels feeding Yoogali and Hanwood, through to the processing plants on Jondaryan Avenue and the packing sheds across Bilbul and Beelbangera, temperature control is embedded in almost every stage of the local supply chain. Our coolroom panels Griffith businesses rely on are built to hold temperature, cut energy costs, and perform through the Riverina’s punishing summer heat.

Berri to Griffith? It’s Closer Than You Think
Most cool room panel manufacturers are based in Sydney or Melbourne, which means long freight distances and higher delivery costs for regional NSW.
Enviroclad is different.
Our manufacturing facility is in Berri, South Australia, roughly four hours west of Griffith along the Sturt Highway. That proximity means shorter lead times, lower freight costs, and a direct line to the people who actually make the product.
What a Coolroom Panel Actually Is
A coolroom panel is an insulated structural building unit.
Ours consists of a Fire Retardant Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) core bonded between two skins of G300 CRP Grade Colorbond Steel. The result is a single rigid panel that forms the walls or ceiling of a temperature-controlled space, holding cold air in and keeping the Riverina’s 40°C-plus ambient heat out.
Every coolroom panel we send to Griffith is manufactured to order:
- 1200mm standard width
- Custom lengths from 1800mm up to 16,000mm
- Thicknesses from 50mm through to 250mm
- EPS core in standard white or Graphite Infused for higher R-values
- Colorbond steel finish selected from a wide colour range
- Interlocking sides for fast, clean installation

Griffith Coolroom Panel Thickness Guide
The Riverina’s dry, sustained summer heat puts a constant load on coolroom insulation. Specifying the right NSW coolroom panel thickness is critical, not just for peak days, but for the weeks-long stretches where temperatures sit above 35°C without relief.
| Thickness | Application | Approx. R-Value |
| 75mm | Cool rooms above 0°C, produce and fruit storage | ~1.8 |
| 100mm | Standard commercial cool rooms, wine storage | ~2.4 |
| 150mm | Freezer rooms at –18°C and below | ~3.6 |
| 200mm | Deep freeze, blast freezer environments | ~4.8 |
We can also manufacture coolroom wall panels, polystyrene sheets, and EPS foam blocks at our Berri facility.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our Berri facility is approximately four hours from Griffith via the Sturt Highway. We freight directly to site using our own vehicles and trusted third-party carriers. The short distance compared to Sydney or Melbourne-based suppliers keeps delivery costs down and lead times tight.
Yes. Our EPS core, particularly the Graphite Infused option, delivers R-values engineered to maintain thermal performance under sustained high ambient temperatures. Specifying the correct panel thickness for your application ensures your coolroom holds temperature efficiently through Griffith's hottest months.
Our EPS core includes a Fire Retardant coating. When exposed to flame, the material melts away from the source and self-extinguishes once the flame is removed. Panels are suitable for any construction within their limitations that does not require a fire-rated wall.
Every single panel is made to order at our Berri facility. 1200mm standard width, lengths to your specification, and thicknesses from 50mm to 250mm. Nothing is pulled off a shelf.
