Coolroom Panels In The Northern Territory

ACOUSTIC VALUES

Enviroclad regularly freight cool room panels Northern Territory-wide, from Alice Springs through Tennant Creek and Katherine, all the way up to Darwin.

Our manufacturing facility in Berri, South Australia, connects directly to the Stuart Highway freight corridor, giving NT businesses access to Australian-made coolroom panels without relying on east-coast manufacturers.

Built to Handle the Territory’s Conditions

The Northern Territory presents some of the toughest operating conditions for coolroom insulation in Australia. The Top End’s tropical humidity and wet season heat, combined with the Red Centre’s extreme dry heat, put year-round pressure on refrigerated environments.

A panel that performs in Melbourne won’t necessarily cope with what Darwin or Alice Springs demands.

Our Northern Territory coolroom panels are built with a Fire Retardant EPS core, available in standard white or Graphite Infused for higher R-values, bonded between G300 CRP Grade Colorbond Steel skins. The sealed Colorbond faces resist corrosion, mould, and bacterial growth, which is essential in the Territory’s high-humidity environments.

Panels are manufactured to your project specs: 1200mm standard width, custom lengths up to 16,000mm, and thicknesses from 50mm through to 250mm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your coolroom panels compliant with Northern Territory business? +

Yes. Manufactured using G300 CRP Grade Colorbond Steel and Fire Retardant EPS, meeting relevant Australian building and construction standards. Documentation available on request.

Do you deliver coolroom panels to the Northern Territory? +

We do, regularly. Our Berri facility connects directly to NT freight routes via the Stuart Highway. We deliver from Alice Springs through to Darwin and service remote sites across the Territory through experienced freight partners.

What thickness coolroom panel do I need? +

The NT's sustained high temperatures mean insulation specification is critical. Cool rooms above 0°C typically require 100mm panels as a minimum in the Territory, while freezer rooms at –18°C or below generally require 150mm or thicker panels. Our team can advise based on your specific location and target temperature.

Do you offer custom panel sizes? +

Every panel is manufactured to order. 1200mm standard width, custom lengths, thicknesses from 50mm to 250mm. Nothing is off-the-shelf.
